Rotech Fabrication has provided a high quality fabrication service in Aberdeen, Scotland, since 1994 and we have a wealth of experience and expertise in providing the highest quality products to a range of clients.

We are a high quality fabricator primarily serving the oil & gas industry with pipe work and structural steel work solutions, as well as building all of Rotech’s unique mass flow excavation tools, hydraulic powerpacks and umbilical reelers.

At Rotech Fabrication we can also build equipment specific to a client’s requirements and our main objective is to meet the needs and expectations of our customer’s regulatory and contractual requirements.

Rotech Fabrication can offer a wide range of services, all delivered with expertise and to the highest quality. We specialise in tight delivery and are flexible to client requirements.

We mainly provide primary and secondary structures for the oil and gas industry for both the topside and subsea areas.

Rotech Fabrication has more than 250 weld procedures approved by Lloyds and DNV, we operate with a range of materials, and we cover ½” diameter to 36” diameter plus in all pipework material;

Our in-house dimensional control, which uses Leica Laser Theodolite equipment and software developed by Mike Lloyd Technical Service Ltd, allows us to fabricate goods to 0.5mm tolerances should clients require specific design.

We also supply labour to onshore and offshore sites and have a pool of labour that can be called upon 24/7.

Facilities //

Rotech Fabrication operates one of the largest and most well equipped workshops in Aberdeen.

The 15,000 sq ft workshop, which can handle the largest of structures, consists of a secure storage area, exotic material shop, carbon steel shop, clean shop and a machine & assembly area.

We have one 10 tonne and three five tonne overhead cranes as well as a full range of equipment including a Pirahna ironworker, lathes, machining centres and sub-arc welding apparatus.

We are also capable of part fabricating equipment before final assembly at a dockside facility if required.

The site offers secure material storage with 24-hour manned security, CCTV, with a security system monitored by Grampian Police.
