The Rotech Tidal Turbine (RTT) is a unique solution to the problem of providing renewable energy which is predictable, economical and does not have a visual impact on the environment. As the RTT is completely submerged it has zero visual impact other than the substation on-shore.
A 1MW prototype is currently under construction and will produce enough electricity to power around 800 homes.
A global and exclusive license for the RTT has been signed with [ Lunar Energy] who are commercialising the technology.
