Business Development Executive / Manager

Seeking to build on successful and growing operations worldwide, Rotech Subsea Ltd is looking to recruit a business development executive/manager to add to our team.

Rotech is a technology driven company which has been developing and providing innovative products to the renewables, oil and gas, decommissioning and energy industries, from our headquarters in Aberdeen, Scotland since 1994.

We are industry experts in fluid dynamics and turbo-machinery with a particular focus on subsea tools. Our industry leading range of trenching and excavation equipment is designed, built, and operated worldwide by Rotech. In the last 12 months we have completed projects in Australia, Taiwan and the USA, as well as in European waters.

We are currently seeking to employ an experienced business development professional with a successful and proven track record in winning new clients as well as growing existing client relationships.

Reporting to the Director of Rotech Subsea, you will be part of a small team of business development professionals and project engineers. Experience in any of our market sectors would be advantageous, as would a knowledge of subsea trenching and excavation.

The successful applicant will be comfortable presenting to existing and prospective clients and be willing to travel regularly throughout the UK and worldwide. Attendance at trade shows will also be required.

Graduate Sales Engineer

Seeking to build on successful and growing operations worldwide, Rotech Subsea Ltd is looking to recruit a graduate sales engineer to add to our team.

Rotech is a technology driven company which has been developing and providing innovative products to the renewables, oil and gas, decommissioning and energy industries, from our headquarters in Aberdeen, Scotland since 1994.

In the last 12 months we have completed projects in Australia, Taiwan and the USA, as well as in European waters.

We are currently seeking to employ an experienced and ambitious graduate to support our business development team. A degree in business studies or similar is preferred.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to start their career in the oil & gas/energy/renewables sector. On joining the team you follow a 12 month training program which will give you experience in various areas of the business allowing you to build the technical and commercial knowledge required to be an effective sales engineer.

Training areas will include but may not be limited to:

  • Operations
  • Business development
  • Contracts
  • Project engineering
  • Client Liaison
  • Manufacturing/offshore/using the equipment

Key Responsibilities in role:

  • Assist the business development manager with client contacts and follow up.
  • Assist business development manager negotiate contract terms.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with clients.
  • Produce quotations for clients.
  • Co-ordinate sales projects.
  • Attend trade shows.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
